I am having some problems getting my pillar gauge pod to stay in place. It is one of those that cover the whole thing and I don't want to use screws. Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

try using 3M double sided tape thats alittle thicker. I used the plugs that autometer gave me. If you do it right they will look good. Keep them as close to the top and bottom and they will work great and look good too.

You might want to use screws because 3M is strong but when it gets cold 3M sometimes decides not to work.

Radio Shack has some odd non-Velcro interlocking fastener tape meant for mounting speaker grilles. Give the tape on it a chance to get stuck, and it'll hold your pillar.

Personally I would just glue it on there. Perhaps maybe, find some double-sided tape, not the 3M, these guys are right about that. Instead visit your local sign store, ask them for some double-sided tape, or banner tape. They have some that is really thin and very sticky. I make signs, that what I use, so I would imagine they would as well. Just my two cents. Hope it helps.
