gauge cluster help

will a 91 gst cluster go on a 90 gst? i heard that 90 and 91 parts are not interchangable somewere, but i need to remove this rices out gauge cluster with lights that barely work, so i found a couple on ebay and one of a 91 gst that i want to buy, thanks

Yeah, it'll fit.

It will fit, but the some off the gauges may not work cause the pin outs for the wiring is different.

i put a 90 tsi awd in a 91 gst w/o any gauge issues, so i dont see why it wouldnt go the other way... also put a 90 1.8 nt into a 94 2.0 nt once w/o issues...but obviously that doesnt apply to this really

yea i want a direct replacment bolt on, i didnt know if 90 and 91 were different, i heard that 90 parts are harder to find then 91-94
