Gas Line Fix...help

First of all what size is the gas line under the car of a 1993 talon?

Is it the same as the 2gs? I have a brand new piece of 2g line 7/16?

Also what would be the best , easiest fix? Compressed fitting ?
And replace where the hole is?

I also have like 12 inches of 2g fuel line with the fittings ( male and female ) better to cutting and replace 12 inches of it since my tubing is that long ?

5/16" I used the brass compression fittings with the sleeves that go over the tubing.

So I ask for 5\16 compression fitting. What's is this sleeve you talk about. Gotta know what to ask the guys at canadian tire

It's part of a compression fitting. The same kind of thing they use to attach an ice-maker water line for a fridge to a water pipe in the house.

I was wondering the same thing on a 2g. i cant find the pick up and sending unit for a awd tank so im relocating the fuel tank til i can get a fuel cell. I took the factory rear rubber hose to a hydraulic hose place and they couldnt extent it cause its metric and couldnt get any fittings for it.

Are the 1g and 2g the same size?

But the line is 5/16". But I have no idea about anything 2g. Never owned one, and never will. If you need an upgraded line I would just go with 3/8".

Yeah i came across that the other day. I was wondering about just runnin a bigger line with a more common fitting from cell to motor.

And you can get the tube nuts like they have on the brake lines for any size tubing, and you can get american or metric. I would just go AN, so you'd want to stick with an even sized AN number. 3/8" would be -6, and 1/2" would be -8 and overkill for a single pump.
