Garrett GT4082

Im in store for a new Turbo for my built 2.0 4g63T motor. (9:1 pistons, 1000cc, -6AN lines etc )

I was looking at the Garrett website and seen a GT4082, and just wanted to know if anyone has ran this turbo before and is there any pro/cons on this baby?

That is a very good turbo. It is being run by a couple of the top runners out there. It has a larger diameter shaft than even the GT42, so it is more reliable at higher boost levels.

You may want to really consider what your goals are with the car as this is a very large turbo, with a lot of potential.

Ok I just looked at your profile, so I guess you would know what you are getting into.

With that said, this is is the turbo that Marco ran as well as Kurt Brown, and Eric Jones. So you can see, with them running it, what kind of power potential it has.

Well Ill have Marco as my tuner as we are close friends and Im sure he will do a great job of tuning it.

Ill be using dsmlink and just trying to becomes Canada's fastest Hyundai

I was gonna go with a GT35 but Im sure this will do just fine as my friend is running the same one
