Not quite sure what to think of this one. I was attempting to install my front motor mount bracket onto the engine, and I couldn't find where to bolt it in (still haven't). When I looked at the tranny, I noticed a gap between the two that looks to have resulted from a mismatched tranny (is this possible?). What is this and is this a reason my tranny is grinding/popping every downshift?

I'm thinking the current trans is gonna need some fixing as it sits, so I'd rather just swap in the entire assembly after I make sure it's good. Good point on the engine wiring, though.
