i have propabally come to one of the hardest decisions to make since i've joined the DSM world, as of right now i own a 1993 eagle talon TSi, and a 1992 Galant Vr4 145/1000. I need to git rid of one of them, do to a shortage on money, and i will be heading off to college soon so i have no need to own two cars.
i will explain a little about the cars, and hopefully you guys can help me out with which one i should keep.

Eagle Talon:talon:

The Good:
32k miles on the engine 105 on body
mechanically sound
Very clean no rust and very few minor dents

The Bad:
Auto transmission
needs tires and a front end allignment

Galant Vr4:dsm:

The Good:
Very hard to find
strong manuel transmission

The Bad:
rust, will need to be removed asap but, most of it is on parts that can be removed and replaced IE. Doors and hood
140k miles on engine and car, will need engine rebuild soon.

I know most of you will say it's my choice, but what would you do if you had to get rid of one of them?

i would keep the rare Vr-4 and latter in life if you still wnat that 4g63 power, but a talon or whatever you want. but youll be paying out of the ass later for a good conditon Vr-4.

sold the talon for 1k:barf: , the car started making a loud knocking noise, ###### a spun rod bearing or a bad balance shaft bearing but non the less the car is finally gone, and out of my hair. On the bigger and better things now.... GVR4:thumb:
D'oh! :( Sorry to hear that, but good that you're keeping the VR4 :thumb:

I wanna say it was a balance shaft bearing, which is a $50 fix, for two reasons the car shakes more when you rev it up, and also i don't think a rod bearing would spin on a totaly oem N/T 4g63 engine with 40k mile on it.... dosen't make since to me, but non the less i'm taking A HUGE LOSS.... i had 2800 into it, and now i'm selling it for 1k and it'll cost him $50-$300 to fix  next time i think i'll sleep on it for a day, wonder if i could have gotten 1500-2000 for it??? damn i'll miss it, but it's going into good hands he'll fix it up, and do the 5spd swap on it. just hope like hell he dosen't go and total it out. oh and since i only made 1k off the talon i get to work my ass off this summer and pay the rest of the loan off. DAMN THAT SUCKS....
