ok i am in the market for a dsm, i have plans on building the motor and am shooting for about 500 awhp. now my question is, is there any advantages to picking up a 1g gsx instead of a galant vr4..or vise versa. like is there any reason one would be slower down the lines...thanks guys

well, a 92 awd dsm would be your best choice

galants are heavier and have abs and a weaker rear end stock - you can compensate for all that - it'll just cost ya

well i would plan on ditching the abs, 4ws and get a better rear if i did get a galant......i am just wondering how come there are so many 1st gen gsx's in the 9's and 10's but not so many vr4's

I cant get over the 4 door thing myself. Just not for me. We have all these really nice looking sports cars out there and their 4 doors. evo's, srt's, sentra spec v's and so forth. Nice lookin cars but their 4 doors :barf: Im sure they got their advantages and alot of people like them. Im just not one of them. To me, a sports car should be 2 doors. We dont need 400hp to go get groceries. Offcourse no one would ever expect 400hp in a grocery getter either. I do think the vr4's are the better lookin 4 doors out there :talon:
