SO my capacitors went out and i replace them, But car won't start, the only thing I'm missing is fuel cause it will start with starting fluid, I cheked injector pulse but I'm getting 12v on both sides of injector harness clips. Did the ecu completely fried or can a bad soldering cause 12v to come out of the signal wires for the injectors?
By bad soldering i mean no contact on one or more of the resoldering points.
thanks.

Trust me. If your capacitors went out it ate away the circuits in your board. I had an electronics shop replace my capacitors that "went out" and they lasted a week. I bought a second computer for $300 that was "rebuilt" on ebay. I was told that they put in new capacitors and tested it in his car. F'in BS.

I sent out my board to a shop in Florida and it came back in a week. They rewired several fried circuit traces and other parts eaten by the leaking capacitors and it was A1 ok after 2 years vs one week and just plain funky with the other.

Likely the caps ate your fuel circuits.

I was VERY HAPPY and it cost me $150 and got it back in 3 days

Send in your current DEAD ECU to them. They actually rewire the actual board and you get your original back where others are lazy and tell you its junk to make you pay for what could have been repaired in about an hour and $20 in parts. Unless it started on fire it will save you probably $300 by going to this firm vs others. Trust me on this one. They are AWESOME:rocks:
