GVR-4 galant vr4 ecu same as 1g eclipse?

Yes I have a Galant vr-4 ecu in my 91 awd TSi so I was told when I bought the ecu.

The ecu's are the same as 91-94 1g ecu's. Also all GVR4 ecu's came eprom.

If your friend has a 90 then, he will need to change 2 wires on the ecu, you can find them on here or vfaq also. I believe it's pin 14 and 6 but I could be wrong on that, I'd look it up.
