Galant VR4

Hi Guys just a quick one my 92 VR4 needs a tranny (23 spline), Can I put in a first gen AWD eclispe or Talon Tranny as long as its a 23 spline?? Thank you Mike

yep it'll match up fine. the only difference is the vr4 ones where switchable from japan. if your not allready joing galantvr4.org has a ton of vr4 owners

i did join and been on there for a few weeks, mac515, and posted it up there also. Thanx for the quick reply.

Do make sure its a 91 and up though. The 90's had different shifter linkage but that may be swapped also.

I don't know the facts, but I remember some coments made about the
viscous coupling has a different bite in the switchable box/transfer combo.
I use a modded switchable transfer on my auto. But I'm welded 50/50.

Hey thanx I on the VR4 site also and someone over there also said something about the shifter bracket. They said to just swap mine over to the new tranny.
