I picked up a 14b from a Galant VR4 today, and was wondering if it's worth changing out my T25 for? I've heard 14b's are awesome, I just don't know if the Galant version is any different than the 1G Eclipse/Talon/Laser ones.

I'm not sure if they are different, don't see what would be different about them, but go ahead and get yourself an install kit and throw it on. It'll be way better than your T-too small. 14bs are underrated little guys.

there is no difference in the 14b thats off the galant VR4. I ran mine off my galant on my talon when i put my 16g turbo on.

That's what it's sounding like I'm going to be doing! Thanks gents.

You better there is a huge difference.Just throw in a evo 8/9 fuel pump or a walbro 255 you don't need worry about a afpr. The fuel pump will help keep the fuel flowing with the bigger turbo.Sence you have a safc get some 550cc injectors super cheap like $50-$100 bucks and turn the boost up on that 14b should be around 250whp.Make sure u get a wideband and a boost gauge if you don't have one.I would really end up saving for ecmlink if I was you.Maintanance and tuning is really where the power is.You can get all the bolt on parts you want but withouth a way to tune it and if your motor isn't right then it's pointless for all the other stuff.I hated my safc after 1 week it limited to much for my mods.

Yeah, I'm trying to get rid of the SAFC so I can get some money for link. Until then, I have a MAF-T that I can tune for the injectors with. I've got a boost gauge and a wideband already. I wanted to do 650 injector, just to be safe, so I don't overwork the 550's and I was thinking a Walboro 190, so I didn't have to get an FPR. Will an Evo pump require an FPR?

Yes you will be great with a evo pump, plus there real quite.I would just save up for link and get 1000cc injectors that way you will save money in the long run and not have to worry about upgrading for a long time. But yes 650cc are good I was at 550cc with my 14b running 70% idc.

1000cc is a lot, haha. I come from Honda's so I like my gas mileage. Eventually, I'll get link and an HX35 setup, with big injectors. But that's when I get a new daily.

my 1000's run just like stock on my 16g still get over 200miles to a tank and 255 fuel pump with stock afpr.hondas and dsms are different once you get link you can fine tune the injectors global deadtimes. But your more then welcome to get a set of 650's.

So I just need to get Link. Of course it's the most expensive thing in the whole setup. Haha.

Link is the whole brain of your operation and is where the power is you can put all the big turbos and mass injectors and stuff on your car if you want but with no way to tune it aka link then it all becomes pointless.

Already searched the serial, and it comes up as a 14b from the Galant VR4. And the blade is a single blade.

May have just traded my SAFC NEO for a mint 7-blade HX35. So maybe this 14b won't be getting used just yet.
