I was just wondering is DOHC swap on the 4g63 sohc engine worth the time and money or do you guys think it would be better to just swap a 4g63t and be done with it

This is for my 1990 Galant

if you go to the 4G63 first you will have all the power you will have a wallet for right away instead of wishing you had...IMHO I would do the 4G63t swap and smile more...after you cry from the tuning fun of course....

whoa crap my bad. Its not for the 2000. I have a 1990 Galant as well as the 2000. This would be for the 1990.

And let me be a little more clear on my intentions. I eventually do want to turbo the car but just wanna know if I should just do the head swap now or just go ahead and save up a little and get the 6 bolt 4g63t

I honestly would save up for the whole engine instead of just doing the head swap since you are wanting to go turbo anyways. It would just make so there are less steps for you to have to take in order to get to the end product. :thumb:

Would you also offer the same advice for a 95 galant? Turbo is in in my plans for the car as well, but I was wondering the same thing. and would I want a 4g63t out of a 1g or 2g?
