Okay guys, done as much searching of all threads the Internet has for these G4CS motors.

No one ever has pictures or a full detailed description of what ports need blocked off.

(**The two ports on the left side of block in pics, technically just one of them I guess)
Edit: just saw another port that's in gasket and not the block above cylinders 4/3 in pics

Check out my pics below for the head gasket and block differences.

(Cometic MLS) Head gasket for a 4g63t like everyone says to use with the 4g63t head.

On my g4cs block I didn't block any ports. I did use a the Fel-Pro PermaTorque MLS head gasket. I believe its the 7 bolt 4g64 blocks that needs certain holes blocked.

Looks to be exactly the same ports that my six-bolt 4G63 has.

Hopefully this page helps others that really was the info I needed with the visual!

Thank you both so much!

I didn't really plan on going G4CS, the machine shop had my 4g63t for about 2 months without touching it, and I came across this motor. So I picked it up and got my other motor back as a spare.

So it's been a bit of a journey ripping it all down and figuring out what's been done etc

Thanks guys!

Assuming that's a 4g64 image with the freeze plugs??

Okay so I put my head on! If everyone else is running is so am I.

I didn't think to look at my 4g63t 6 bolt block derp. It's in my Subaru not with other motor so I didn't think about it.

I did notice, looking at your pics and at my motor, there's two tiny holes that are in the 4g63 block and not in the G4CS. (Very right side by cylinder 1)

My 2.1 that I currently run has those 2 small coolant holes. It's a 6 bolt 4g64 motor out of a 87 galant. My g4cs came from a hyundai sonata. I did drill the holes on the g4cs when I refreshed the motor. But I didn't notice a difference in coolant temps in doing so. I used an old head gasket as a template and to protect the deck if the drill bit jumped. Also, there's not much material that needs to be drilled.

Nice good to know man! At this point I'm going to run it but good idea for a refresh to drill those out. Appreciate everyone's input.
