Fwd only 60ft times and setups

I dunno about you guys but I'd personally like to see the et's and mph as well to give a full picture on how you're doing at the track. For example, I'm running 1.752 60ft and a [email protected] so far. Launching at around 5k on slicks. Running a faster mph might say I'm slipping at the start, etc. ya know? Nice to be able to compare how others are doing.

5000 rpm launch slipping the clutch...the ol 1.6L doens't have any torque below that.

I've got 23x8x15 M&H slicks for next season and Link for some anti-lag. Gunning for a 1.8 60' and a low 11 1/4 mi.

Your Mirage still has a lot of room in it now. With a 120mph+ trap speed, your car should be easy 11's now. Just get that 60' below 2.0.

Track opens in a couple weeks for me. I cant wait!!!

That is a good idea and all, but I am not sure how long I can trust something like that. We came up with that idea about a month or two back to do pretty much exactly what you did to your mounts. Like I said, we just could not trust something like that for a lengthy period.

So this was our solution. We have only done the front and rear mounts on our 89 mirage and 89 colt.

I made a set just like that for my car a year or so ago. The center hole became egg shaped after a short time. I then redid them using a steel sleeve in the center. All has been good since then.

If it's just aluminum, I know I'd be concerned. It's already a soft metal and that's a lot of force on them. I'd personally be doing the steel sleeve as well. Just some added protection.

Current mods are in my profile. Take out the prothanes, cams, alky injection TRE trans and add some 26x9.5x15 slicks and i pulled 1.992 60' times out fo the stock tranny, stock 2g block, 57 trim turbo, stock suspension and the rest of the aftermarket goodies i've got listed

I was launching at 5200 RPM w/o any anti-lag or boost building device. I was lightly riding out the clutch and spinning hard even on slicks

and ran a 9.393 thay pass
