Do you have an E3 O2 housing? If so, that's the problem right there. I know RRE once made a downpipe that avoided that problem, but as you already have a DP it doesn't help you. You can run it that way, we did, and it ended slowing chewing through the flex section. For us it didnt matter as the car is more of a weekend warrior, but if you use it more and expose it to the elements it will corrode faster. You might have to just suck it up and take it in.

if you have a welder you could cut at the flange and rotate the pipe just a little bit so it dosen't hit

I have the same setup as you just installed last month. the exhaust was fine with the stock o2 housing but when i installed the E3 one my dp hit the transfer case. you can cut and modify the flange like stated, I myself did some slight modification to the flange bolt holes so i could rotate the pipe slighty to avoid it rubbing constantly and eating through the flex pipe. so if you have access to a welder do that save you some time and money down the road or you can just modify how the holes on the dp sit just use a file and some good ald elbow grease

I have a megan racing ss O2 housing. I dont have access to a welderso it looks like Ill have to take it to the shop, or justport my stock O2 and use that for now.

Are you sure that the DP is bolted to the o2 housing tightly? i had a simliar problem, but i ended up grinding a bit off the DP flange because it was hitting the waste gate dump tube on the o2 housing and keeping it from bolting on all the way down. It was slight, but enough to cause the same problem your having.

Yep had the same problem with Megan turboback and evoiii o2.. The only way to solve this is to have the flange cut reangled and welded or a different o2 housing.. It shouldn't cost much fir a shop to reweld it because its a small adjustment.

On my old exhaust, I just made a pie cut, angling the flange. Once welded back up it cleared. I've since swapped to a RRE because i'm using an Evo3 o2 housing. (btw, pie cutting helps keep everything lined up rather then cutting the flange totally off)

Alright guys thanks for all the tips. Ill see what option I choose once time comes. Thanks again
