Well i got my megan racing downpipe, and i couldn't get it in even after like 2.5 hours of trying. I took the bracket off that holds the stock dp to the block. It just doesn't want to get pushed up against the o2 housing. I managed to get the driverside o2 housing bolt in but the passenger side is angled up slighty and it is hard to line up. It is hard to hold up there because I am basically doing this by myself. I was also having trouble figuring out which side of the hanger the dp connected to. If anyone had a pic of the megan dp attached to the hanger that would be great. I figure if i can get that bolted up right first it might make it easier to bolt the front up. So yeah, if you guys had any pics or tips i would apreciate it!

Edit: Here's the one i bought:

so does anyone have any tips? i want to go at this again today. thanks

EDIT: i just had to bolt the back part of the downpipe up first, then the o2 housing section

btw, some of Megan Racings Down pipes a few years ago had issues because the prototype eclipse that they based the downpipe construction from had a EVO III o2 housing so the flanges were clocked a few degrees for the E3 o2 housing. There may still be a few of those around on the market. I bought a few of them a while back since i got them at a steal price and ended up selling them for profit. =)

yeah it fine, thanks for the help.

Althought now i am having trouble bolting my catback up (o boy) I just made another thread for that though.

I bought mine from Punishment racing, and it is the same exact DP. They welded the cat-back flange wrong on the downpipe so it doesn't mate up to the cat-back. You may have to cut the welds on it and have it rewelded to fit.

crap, thats a pain. I guess I have to put my stock downpipe on. I guess i could cut the flanges off and get a piece of piping and put it on with some exhaust clamps. Would that work?
