Fuel sending unit leaking.. Again.

99 GSX.. I fixed all of the previous owners fuel work (leaks everywhere) and now just one last problem. The power and negative wires to the pump are ran through a hole in the sending unit and sealed with JB weld. Only problem is the JB weld doesn't like the flexible wire, and creates gaps for fuel to seep out. How can I seal this better? Should I try and use the connector instead?

Put a pillow on top and be done with it... Lol. Joking! I was having a similar issue at the same spot but all I needed to do is rotate the connector until it stopped. I got pretty jacked up on fuel when replacing the fuel lines and having that problem .

Lol might aswell have idk how the previous owner survived especially with the fumes. I decided to order a connector for the fuel pump and just wire it into the original connector and JB Weld this s*** out of my sending unit. if this fails I'm just going to order the full blown setup.
