Okay everyone I know this topic has been beat to death and I have looked at all the post but can't seem to get the answer I'm looking for.

So I have owned my 1g for 18 years. And I'm finally getting back on the road after seating for 5 years due to starting a family. It has been garage kept and I have done the following before hitting the street. New fuel filter, plugs, wires, rebuilt fuel injectors and new seals, changed oil drained old fuel, changed coolant. I also got a walbro 190lph fuel pump from a dsmtuner.

Okay so the first day I took her on the street car did great. Sounded good, boosted good, ran good. Only thing is the fuel pump was super load after driving it. On start up or just idling you couldn't hear it as soon as I started driving it it got super loud. Came did some research and people say that those pumps are loud. So thought its just something I'm going to have to deal with.

Week later take car back on the road. At start up and idle same thing can't her fuel pump. After driving a little I can hear the fuel pump again and it's super loud. But this time I noticed that when I use my turn signal I can hear the fuel whine along with the turn signal so immediately I'm thinking I have a bad ground. Also after boosting a little the car starts stalling and boost sucks so I pull over and realize that my coupler is loose on my intercooler pipe. I get her home and I tighten it up and I double check all couplers and I do a boost leak test with soapy water. Everything looks okay so i take it back out. I stop by the store put 3 gallons of gas in her but by habit I put cheap 87 in the car. I start driving and the car seems great until i start building boost and its starys jerking and backfiring. So i immediately go home and over the next week i just start her up everyday to try burn all the cheap fuel out. After about 45 minutes of idling the car will just cut off on its own. I turn the key starts right back up. Finally got all the cheap gas out and put 5 gallons on 93 in her.

Today take it again and everything is doing good until it starts building boost then car starts jerking and backfiring and the fuel pump is super loud again. Get home check all couplers and do another boost leak test and find nothing. Then after 30 minutes of idling the car shuts off but starts right back up.

My question is am I missing something with blt or could it be bad fuel pump? Or did the cheap gas mess something up?Current mods listed below and thanks In advance for any help.

Big 16g turbo running stock boost
2g ported turbo manifold
Boost gauge running 20 vac at idle
190lph walbro fuel pump
Punishment racing upper and lower intercooler pipes with stock bov
Dejon tool intake with kn air filter
Oil tem, oil pressure, water temp gauge
3g lifters.
Fluidyne radiator with slim fans

Not advice but my observations. I run an Aeromotive 340 in my 90 and I can hardly hear it. My 92 has a 255 in it and I can hear it but its not annoying. I think you need a fuel pump rewire so your pump gets all the voltage it can, the turn signal is a give away on that for me.

Thanks 1990tsiawdtalon. Do you think that's causing my boost issue as well. It's just strange that one day it did great and now having issues with it.
