Fuel Pump Question

Hello, I have a 97 GST Automatic and i need to upgrade the fuel pump I'm wondering if this Aem Fuel pump will work on it?

STM: AEM 320LPH HIGH FLOW FUEL PUMP | 50-1000

why not go with a walbro 190lph or 255lph. they seem to be what alot of people use here and everyone seems to have good results.

Wally 255, gonna need injectors and probably a regulator to with it.

Elaborate on the gonna need injectors part. You don't have to replace the injectors to go with a bigger pump.

Correct with a bigger pump just go ahead and get yourself a regulator I run the AEM 320lph for E85 and ive no complaints its very silent too.

That's not a bad price for a pump that flows 320lph. A Walbro 255 is like $80. But since it's a universal pump, I'd be leery of whether it'll just drop right in.

Im also curious as to the "need" to upgrade. But, wally 255 is the standard go to for us.

Walbro 190 would be a good upgrade ,I ran one on my stock regulator. If you plan on big power upgrades in the future go with a 255 wally and an AFPR

I never overran my stock fpr but it wasn't rewired either.
