Ok so my first long drive with the car running today and I ended up cleaning up a local gas station for 30 minutes....

I filled my car up with gas today only to have a lady scream at me that my car is going to blow up!. LOL..... It filled up completely and instead of making the pump stop, it started leaking out from around the top of the fuel pump cap. it's not leaking around the side at all. just the top. I tried soaking up all the gas but as it would soak up some, more would push through the top. Its as tight as I can get it but its still pushing through. I have searched through the forum but I cant find any threads of this happening.... Can anyone help me out.....AGAIN PLEASE???:aha::banghead:

thank you to both of you. knowing me, when i put the pump back in, i didn't seal it right so thank for point me in a direction
