Resolved 2G Fuel filter leaking

So I replaced my fuel filter when the engine was out of the car and since I got the car running, the bottom line on the ff is leaking. I’ve tried looking for the crushwashers for the filter but I literally cannot find them anywhere. Where did you all find them?

Isn't the bottom line a tapered fitting?

I thought it had to be crush washer?
Also it is a tapered fitting so I just wasn’t sure if it needed a washer or a sealant or what.

The bottom connector on the fuel filter is a double flare fitting where the nut crimps the tubing against the filter seat to seal. If it leaks it could be loose, dirty, or the line is damaged.

The top connector is a banjo bolt that gets copper or aluminum crush washers on both sides of the Banjo to seal it.

Curious if you're serious or you mean a crush washer at the store. If you meant a regular washer thats very dangerous advice on a fuel line.

Alright thank you I wasn’t sure I didn’t think it had a crush washer when I pulled it out so I wasn’t sure if it needed one and I just missed it when I took it out of it I didn’t but I pulled the bottom line back off and then was like well I definitely don’t need a washer on this and I had already tried to tighten it some more so I just cleaned the threads really good and put it back on and I’m pretty sure it’s not leaking anymore bc I just stuck my hand on the bottom and before I could get a decent amount of fuel just by wiping my hand and I got nothing when I checked again.
