Ok I just ordered a 190lph walbro fuel pump, and im not sure if I "REALLY" need a FPR, im trying not to spend much on the car, but im wondering will the 190 over flow the stock regulator or can it handel it? because I really dont want to spend $300 on a freaking regulator. When I could put that twords injectors.

The car doesn't have to much done to it. K&N, 16psi boost, 2.5" press bent DP, stock gutted exhaust. I just ordered an UICP, intake pipe, and the fuel pump.

BTW once I get the new parts on since I dont have a logger..What would you recomend setting the boost to? 14psi? I know i'll have to turn it down once I put the UICP on, im just not sure how much.

i Have a 190 with a stock regulator so im sure you will be alright. I would run 15psi untill you get a logger and can read knock. If you put full exhaust on you could probably run 17 or 18psi but i would still log it to make sure.

The only accurate way to determine if your stock fpr is being overran, is to monitor it with a gauge. You are going to want to make sure it maintains the stock preset amount at idle and then make sure it rises 1:1 with the boost level. If it does both of these, then it is not being overran and it OK to use.
