I bought a new car a few days ago to upgrade from my old 2g FWD talon to a 1g AWD talon and I just noticed that the idiot cut off the entrance inlet to the fuel filter -_- I was wondering if you guys had any tricks to either get a new inlet re-welded on or somehow fixing my stock fuel line. If not I'm going to have to buy the STM fuel tank to fuel filter kit.

I'm not sure why either but I do know that it is preventing me from putting the OE fuel filter on and starting the car :(

No, it was dark when I noticed it and I had just gotten back from the junk yard. I will snap one tomorrow though. I was just curious if anyone else had experienced a similar problem. He only cut the tip off where it threads into the fuel filter, I'm guessing because he couldn't get the filter off :( fml.

I'm wondering if I can maybe put on some steel braided and an AN fitting to the filter and just run it like that..

So I was under the car today draining/cleaning my fuel tank from gas that has been sitting in it for probably 5 years or more and the line next to the filler neck was rusted through. It is the line that looks kind of like a return line and goes through the drivers side wheel well and up into the car. What is this line called and where can I get a replacement besides a junkyard? Also, I forgot to take pictures of the part of the fuel line that he cut but I will take them tomorrow when I actually have my camera :|

This is the part I'm talking about circled in red. I have the fuel line situation solved. Now this is what I'm working on LOL. I need to know the name of the metal part of the rest of this line/what purpose it serves and where to get another one if needed. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide :D
