I have a fuel leak coming from the top on my Denso 550cc RX-7 injector. The model number is 195500-1370 and its a tan top. It is coming from the top o-ring on the injector where it goes into the fuel rail. I have changed the o-ring 3 times trying to get it to stop leaking and nothing is working. The stock dsm o-ring it too beefy and the rx-7 seems to not want to seal although it is the same size as the one before. Any ideas?

Check the fuel rail to make sure the injector boss doesn't have any nicks in it. Next, are you lubricating the o-rings prior to install? If not, you might be cutting the o-ring upon install and causing the leak. Those are the first 2 things I'd check.

Both injectors should be the same size. You indicated that the orings were the same size. I would put some lub on the orings before installation. When pulling the injectors out, carefully examine the orings to see if they are damaged...hope this helps

Also make sure that you are setting them in their flush. I had a similar problem in which one of the injectors would not sit right inside there and the fuel pressure would squirt fuel out.

anyone have a guide on taking the injectors and fuel rail out? i have fuel sitting under neath my injecotrs and i cant find where its coming from. please help =/
