I am in the process of getting my fuel filter replaced but can't get the bottom bolt of the original out. Any tricks? And what size is it exactly?

Yeah you actually needed two wrenches there are two nuts one to hold the filter with the other to the line, i like crown foot wrenches for this application.
I only used one wrench.
good thing i was replacing the line anyway with the fuel lab filter and line kit from stm! you can actually use the stock clamp/bracket with the fuel lab filter if you wish. just stick some foam pieces in between the clamp and the filter and your good to go!
