I took off my front sub frame and I ended up cutting off the end. So now im stuck with how to fix it. I have read that its just a square head that drops the the body? Is that something I can buy and drop in? Or do I need to weld something there? Also I am not a good welder. Is it a option to only run the 5 and not all 6?

Seeing you have a huge piece remaining, looks like you got a few options. I would try a pipe wrench and PB Blaster.
Try going forward first and then a back forth motion slowly backing the bolt out a bit more each time.

If the bolt breaks and you have a nub left you can try one of these.

After that you try drilling and using an easy out.

After that you use a drill bit that is just smaller than the the bolt and then you chip out pieces of the bolt.

That's a tough one I wanted to replace mine when I replaced my front subframe for a GSX subframe because it's lighter then a GST. Anyways mine are all rusty and but I pretty sure it's just like the rear subframe GST to GSX conversion how the bolts are longer and need to replace them with GSX bolts for mounting them of course it's easy for the rear the front is a whole other planet so I got drill with a SS wheel and PB blaster and cleaned them they came out nice. You may have to cut into the chassis. I'd try to practice on a wrecked dsm before you do yours.

The head of those studs are "contained" in a little metal box type of arrangement within the structure of the floorpan. This box can't be accessed without cutting into the floorpan structure. It's not impossible, I've done it. Guys who convert their FWD's to AWD have to do something similar with the carrier bearing studs. So it's definitely do-able, but it's not fun.

Just realized bduran1220 said pretty much the same thing.

Looks like you're going to have to cut into the floor pan and drop an new one in. I would weld a larger square washer of some sort to the new bolt to avoid having it turn in the future if you have to drop the subframe again.

The stock rubber subframe bushing don't exist as separate pieces, they're considered part of the subframe. There's no reason you couldn't make your own and use those.

I want to avoid pressing them out and getting new ones in. I don't have a press and it would be very hard. If I could make them then that would be the way. I wanted to see your opinions on it. I know blackgst sells the kit for 195 but I don't want to spend that much. I just want to get this car back together. I'm tired of everything breaking. I just want the rubber pieces that just pace on top.

Does anyone have any links to just the subframe bushings? Here is pics of what im stuck with. I just need the rubbers. Also do the rubbers go on both sides?

I'll check with my builder. while he was doing the awd conversion he decided to use the donor's front sub as well. A bolt came loose exactly like yours. He had to cut into it. I'm going over there on saturday so i'll see if i can get some info and pics for you. If it were closer i would go tomorrow.
He's insanely detail oriented so i'm sure if i ask him to look at this post he can tell me exactly what you need
