Front Subframe

I'm looking to buy a new or used front sub frame for my 95 Talon Tsi. Does anybody know where I can buy one for my car? I tried looking online but no luck yet. Any input would be great. Thanks.

You won't be able to find a new one. You would have to chop one off a salvage yard car. Just make sure it comes off a turbo car, as the 420A has a different subframe.

Are you talking about the Radiator CORE support? This is the one I bought years ago and it fit perfectly.

No, it is the one that the lower control arms bolt into along the bottom of the firewall. But thanks anyway.

Oh, I see what you mean now. I have never seen a new one, but you can unbolt one from a salvage yard. Why do you need a new one?

Oh okay I know the part you are talking about. Black Widow is right, that would be a junkyard piece. Find someone parting out another Talon/Eclipse. What is wrong with yours? Is it rusted out or wrecked?

I have a bunch of broken bolts in it, and its a bit rusty. I guess I will just take it out, drill out the bolts, and repaint it. I was hoping it would be cheap just to buy a new one.

Local Pull-A-Part or look in the classified in the part out section.

THose will be your best bet.

Like rlacasse1 said, check the partout ads. You would probably be able to find one for a pretty good price in there.

Don't know if you can still actually get one but the front crossmember for a 95 AWD MR316248 $304.62 list $295.00 at Cherry Hill Mitsubishi.

If they are still available new any of the dealerships can order it. I've found Cherry Hill Mitsubishi to have the best prices and service.

Thanks, I found just what I was looking for there. The part cost like $300 so I'm gonna try using ez-out on the bolt first to save money, but if it doesn't work I have a back up plan! Thanks again!
