Front Oil Pump Case??

Does anybody know if something goes here on this 7 bolt front case, this view is looking straight at the front case, but the top of it is threaded as if something...threads in there...I noticed that the 6 bolt has the same spot but there is no threaded part, it goes back into the case.

Does the thread match the other 10mm bolts that hold on the lower timing cover?

There is a 3/8" plug that goes in there. The part number is MD145018.

yeah. Its just a plug. I just looked at mine and theres nothing there on mine.

thanks guys...yeah didn't remember anything being there but I'd hate to start it up and have no oil press ### its sprayin out the side ha. Thanks guys

So I have the plug but since it is timed and ready to be put in basically, the tensioner bracket is in the way so do i NEED this plug to be in here??
