I installed my front case/oil pump this past weekend and I decided to redo it. I was worried about how much copper spray I used so I took off my front case back off tonight. Now my problem is when I took off my oil pump gear cover to repack with moly grease the dried up loctite in threads of the cover got inside the cavity. I dont want to risk it, so I will be flushing out the front case to make sure it is good to go.

My question is, if I use break cleaner to get all that grease I had in there will it damage the front main seal and oil pump seal? Will the brake cleaner also affect the castle nut o ring and the thread sealant I used on that castle nut? Will I need to replace all of those or take out and reinstall if I do that? Any ideas the best way for me to flush it out without doing any harm to the seals and not having to install new ones or taking out the existing ones and reinstalling them since the whole front case and seals in there are brand new and already assembled? Thanks.

Most break cleaners says to spray away from rubber components and such

You are absolutely right. I forgot about that.

Any ideas how to flush the front case assembly without doing any harm to any of the seals, o ring, sealant, and jb weld I used?

I wiped off the chunks of loctite out of the cavity, I just want to be 100 percent I don't have anymore in places in the pump I can't see.

How hard is it to pull those two seals and to place back in?

Thanks

Anyone? I would really like to flush the front case/oil pump another way while not harming any of the seals, jb weld or sealant that is already on the new front case. I was thinking maybe power washing it at a local car wash bay? Any other ideas? Will that cause any harm to the seals, jb weld, or thread sealant on the cast nut? Or do any other harm to the front case/oil pump? How about causing corrossion if I go that route? I really dont want to have to take the seals out and install new ones since the front case and seals are new. Plus I dont want to screw up anything on the front case by trying to mess with the seals. Thanks.
