fresh custom paint job , what do you think?

He lives in Dubai where 900$ is nothing. Regardless of where you live, 900 is dirt cheap for paint. As for mine, I blew it apart 2.5 years ago and it sat. I attempted to throw a engine in it to ditch it, but Unfortunatly got ripped off by a scumbag off this forum. So I sold 99% of my performance mods and built a brand new engine. I'm done modding cars. I am more into restorations. Figured since I'm stuck with this thing I'll make it look like it did on the lot in 95. I've gone thru almost everything and replaced things that were beat. No more performance stuff for me. I'm going to buy a quick stock car and leave it. Dumping money into go fast parts was the worst investment I ever made. Granted I got back a decent amount when I sold them, it's a waste to me. Since I've stopped my bank account has improved dramatically!
On a side note, I'm DESPERATLY trying to find a new oem upper window trim for the drivers side. Money doesn't matter! If have one pm me ASAP! The car is gonna look mint and I don't like the spray paint trim look.

in the night it has different color and in the shade its RED RED and in the normal light its candy red

Would be nice to get a shot of it in direct sunlight to see that. It looks like it's just a touch lighter but still pretty close to the factory Cayenne/Paprika, almost matches an area of slightly sun faded factory paint on mine.

BTW, I think you got an awesome deal on the paint job.

I think it looks great as is. I wouldn't change much. I'm especially liking those tailights. The only things I would do to it are a not-too-dark window tint and maybe pull off the low rise spoiler. That car would look really nice wingless IMO. Wheels are okay until you get tired of them.

Do you have any better pics of this car? This is pure DSM-Porn! Those wheels are sick.

I have 4 pics of that car (including the original version of the one I posted) that I can post if the OP doesn't mind, but I don't want to slut his thread up with someone else's ride. I don't even remember whose car that is now.

That mustang blue would be an awesome dsm color. I hate it on mustangs but I recently saw it on a s2k and loved it. Op 900 usd is insane even for a cheap shirtty paint job. A decent 100% no corners cut job usually runs about 5k from someone with 20+ years experience, bur you get what you pay for.

It looks good. I like the headlights. I'm not a fan of the rims though. They're just not my style, but they don't look bad on the car. If you like them you should keep them. Not everyone likes my rims, but I like them so I am keeping them.

The color looks pretty close to factory Cayenne Red Pearl as someone mentioned earlier. That being said, it's definitely a nice looking color on a DSM. The only visual things I would be in a hurry to change if I were you would be to get a set of OEM headlights with black housings and do a 2gb conversion. The wheels are okay and I feel like with a drop, they would look good. I don't ever tell anyone to drop his car if he doesn't want to though because I fully understand the issues that come along with a low car.

headlights will go soon, but i cant seem to find OEM lights at all with black housing , if anyone has them please PM me i am very serious

rims will be painted black also .

i want first to sort out the headlight , if you have used HL and in good shape i am intrested i dont want to buy again from ebay , they killed me with the shipping costs 240 USD for shipping the lights and the price of the pair is only 80 USD. crazy

If you find the plain stock 95-96 chrome headlights you can just take them apart and paint or night shade the chrome. I night shaded the chrome in mine along with the orange lens. It makes them look a ton better IMO. I think there is a thread somewhere explaining how to do it.
