Fresh 14b install help

Ok so I just install my fresh rebuild 14b on my 95 gst
Im feedting the turbo from the head!

Ok the problem is when I REV the engine and after 3k makes a dam noise! It song like a blender or something like that and is not building no boost at all!

Mods are!!

1g bov
stock pump rewire
K&F air intake
eBay MBC

This is my DD please help!!

Well the blades look ok to me?

Still doesn't mean the turbine shaft isn't bent or something else which could be causing a noise and no boost to be built.

How much do they charge to do the balance?

Depends on the vendor and the type of balancing being done, but anywhere from $45-$65 is the norm.

Bud..post videos/pics of your own car..its not that difficult and will help solve your problems. Just cause the noise sounds "the same" over a video on the internet doesnt mean it is. Either get help by posting pics and vids of your car or enjoy you non boosting dsm

Yea that be a good idea but a don't know if I'll be able to do ir on a iPhone?? I'll try tu put it back togheter tomorrow and I'll take pic and videos

Well before its back together, snap a couple of the fins on the turbo...

Also if you have an iphone that shoots video, you can get an youtube account and sign up for the mobile uploads, then send the movie to that address and upload to youtube... If you need a tutorial or have questions check out the youtube section for the mobile uploads.

Sure I will, when I did the swap I din't chage any gaskets! I only did the turno and pan! Should I change the turbo to mani and o2 housing???

I'm NOT the person to be asking about cell phone technology....I just got rid of my giant 1972 Nokia that ran on Diesel this past summer.

Rebuild looks fine....your 14B is one of the early 49178-01010 models that came on a 1990 car and had a right-hand threaded turbine shaft, and there are never any balance grinds on these locknuts because the early 14B's were ALL component-balanced only. Assembly doesn't matter- as long as you're careful not to bend the shaft the turbo will be in balance.

I think he stated his own problem. He didn't change gaskets. It is likely there is a huge leak. On a side note. Where can I get a 7cm housing for my 14b?

Gaskets arnt causing grinding.
On a side note...have you even tried typing "dsm 7cm housing" in google?

Yea I think the turbo need to be lance cause today I went to I specialist on turbo balancing and he toll me that the turno is junk and is not repaireble!
But today I found a good 14b and I'm instaling it tomorrow and see if the was the problem or just a big boost leak!!
