Hey guys

So again I need your help.

Im about to buy the FP racing manifold for my 1g, and everybody says its a good manifold and everything but they also say it heats up a lot.

Is that true?
will that be bad for my engine?
Or should I just go for a simple EVO III manifold?

thanks

So If I get the VHT FlameProof™ coating will help keeping the temperature down, or for the peeling, or both?
Do you know if I can reuse all my stock bolts with the fp manifold?
Thanks for all you help!!!!

:ohdamn:

You need two thread to answer your two questions?

I answered your bolt question in the thread you started above.

As far as coating, just get it ceramic coated like everyone else and make sure you follow in the break-in procedure correctly, this will prevent fade and peeling of the coating.

In my personal experience no coating will hold up for very long, even swaintech coating, if you're really concerned id say #### coating and go wrapping you're manifold or both, wrapping is enough though, if you do decide to wrap it make sure to drench the whole roll in water then wrap it, you get more of a seal doing it that way.
