  • Yes I do, it's black. I don't know if I'll be able to find the bolts, though. I'll double check and let you know. PM me if interested so I can track the convo easier. Thanks.
Can someone tell me about the fp manifold for 2g eclipse. If I buy it, can I use my stock bolts?
Is that truth I will need a shield in order to keep the heat under the hood?
if I don't get the shield is gonna be a big difference?
try looking for a GSP (god speed projects) manifold and o2 housing they make good parts for cheap but it really depends on your setup and the thickness of your wallet. like i said GSP makes good parts and they are cheap i found a racing header for $110 and they have o2 housings for almost any turbo
you need to make a thread describing your problems or questions. Do not just randomly message people. Just enter the newbie thread and hit the button at the top right corner to start a new thread describing your issue or question.
im confused what 02 housing? did you messege me by mistake? i dont recall selling any 02 housings
The bolt your talking about, is it in the threads for the o2 sensor? If so, you remove it and put your o2 in there. Also, OBX manifolds are ebay, and crack. Spend the money on a nice one, like the FP, or check the classifieds.
So finally I got the Megan Racing o2 housing but I have not installed yet. What do you know about it? It came with a bolt, so what is it for? Does it mean if I remove the bolt it will work as an external dump and is going to be loud or louder than if I leave the bolt? what about if I leave the bolt will it work as a recirculated????
thanks so much I am very confuse, I don't know much about it.

The external dumps are not extremely loud. I perfer them over a recirculated dump because I feel the recirc disturbs the exhaust flow out of the turbo.

For a street application and regular driver I would stick with the FP cast manifold. Cast manifolds are less prone to cracking than tube headers.
Hello, looks like you asked other people the same question as me. Like 4Lurker4 I also run the EvoIII o2 housing and my stock 2g heat shield fits right over it. Even though its larger people think its the stock piece.. But what he forgot to mention the outlet is at a different angle and the studs are further apart as stock and the SS aftermarket pieces. So bolting it up to your down pipe will be a pain in the ass. I took mine to the exhaust shop to change the flange on my downpipe for the correct angle. As for the manifold, I also run a ported EvoIII one because it could be had for cheap used and I still get to use my heat shield. The FP manifold is a great piece and is more then enough for most peoples needs. Many people have made power on all these parts and there is a ton of info on ALL of this if you browse the site. For whatever you do choose do it wisely and not just for looks and sound. Good luck!!!!
Personally I run an Evo III O2 housing, better than stock, somewhat looks stock and a great upgrade. It's made the same way as the stock one so no dumping exhaust to the atmosphere. Manifold, again Evo III is a great upgrade for 2gs (1995-1999 eclipse/Talon) although the FP manifold is better. I'd suggest opening up a thread in the newbie section if you have questions though. Also, start searching on the forum, you'll learn tons, plenty of info on everything you could possibly upgrade.
I have an Open 02 dump, which means my O2 housing has a dump tube coming off of it. Its pretty loud. As for manifolds, I have my stock manifold. I plan on going back to the stock O2 housing soon.
    Hi guys!
Can someone tell me about the o2 housing, I am so confuse: I read the stock one is internal dump (so I guess that why is quiet)?, what about the aftermarket? are they external dump or internal dump? what I read about the external dump is they are very loud (I don't want a loud one) and gives you more power?
what do you guys think about The Megan Racing one is it internal (quiet) or is external (loud)
I have a 96 eclipse gst sypder (stock turbo, Megan racing down pipe and 3' catback system)
I don't race but I like upgrading stuff!!!!
    thanks a lot!
