I just got done installing a SSAC short route FMIC this weekend, ever since, my oil dummy light has been on all the time except when excellerating. Can anyone give me an idea of what the problem is?

Add some oil and see if it goes away. My oil light came on when I had a leak I didnt know about, it went away with accleration because I was making more oil pressure, turned out to me my return line. Check for leaks or an unplugged wire from your oil pressure sending unit.

Have you checked your oil? Is the gauge reading low all the time also? I would not be driving it until you make sure you actually have oil pressure.

My oil light never went on before FMIC, i check my oil religously, I have no leaks or burn it, and the oil was full before the FMIC and after the FMIC. My oil light was on right after i put the FMIC, is it possible that my intercooler pipe is grounding out the dummy light sensor?

What is the oil pressure gauge reading, is it in the normal range? If it is in the normal range check the wire for the sensor. It may have gotten nicked and be shorting out.

Yea my guage is reading normal oil pressure, the intercooler pipe is touching the sensor so maybe ill wrap tape around it or bend the bracket away from the pipe.

That is good you do not have any leaks, like you said I would try getting the pipe away from the sending unit. Do you have prothane motor mounts, because when you drive your engine moves, which could possibly be making the intercooler pipe move away from the unit, and when you are stopped/idling it touches again making the light come on.

If all of a sudden you are getting the oil dummy light go on after you installed your SSAC kit, but never did prior to it or had any problem with oil pressure for that matter, the problem you have is similar to what I and others had.

If you mounted the core using the top existing fog light holes, and did not hack any of the piping, the lower ic pipe will sit really close to the oil sensor/dummy light unit. When you are braking the momentum of the car probably grounds it on the pipe, thus making the light go on.

That's probably your problem.
