hey, i just got done changing my oil among a few other things while my car has been parked. its been sitting all together for about 2 months for the first month i would start it up every now and then to make sure everything was okay and it was, nothing bad at all. after that i took out all the fluids and tranny to do a clutch job took me a few weeks to get it done. So a month later after not starting it i get it all back together, new oils and all that and its giving me a oil light and the factory pressure gauge is sitting about as low as it can go at idle, ive yet to test it at high RPM cause im scared to do that. what could have caused this??????? everything was fine before.....
O and i didnt break into the engine or anything like that just changed the clutch so as far as i know nothign is different with the engine besides the new oil and oil filter..... :|
And one more edit, i dont really know how either the oil light works or the pressure gauge, all
i know is that the oil light comes on when somethins wrong oil wise and the pressure gauge tells you how much pressure there is in the oiling system, i dont know where these things get there readings from or how they work or any thing like that. might help me figure out whats wrong if i knew.

I would check to make sure that you didn't knock the connectors off of the sending units. They each have their own and they are located on the oil filter houseing. The gauge one is a round brass colored one with a wire connected on the end of it. The one for the light is smaller and has a wire connected on the end of it. if those are not your problems check over your work make sure the oil filter is tight and not double gasketed. I can't really think of anything else at the time.
