Just got a 98 GST spyder. I want the LOUD blow off valves, at a good price.... any ideas? What else should I do? Can I turn up the boost on a stock setup???? Hmm... PM ME GUYS! Thanks.:rocks:

More like do us a favor.

1. There are tons of BOVs, Greddy's, HKS, Forge, Tial, etc etc etc. They all sound loud.

2. You can search.

3. Yes you can but not much.

A favor...........well just sell the car back.

Seriously, read and search everything you find about dsm's. You can't just bolt on BOV and expect it to work efficiently. Like everyone is saying, SEARCH!!

*sigh* you cannot properly vent a blow off valve without the supporting mods, the easiest and cheapest would be a maft (maf translator) which converts the hot wire signal from a gm mafs to karma which we use on our cars, from there you could just use your stock bov if all you want is the sound. without the mafs the car will want to die in between shifts due to loss of metered air.

and of course the blow off valve would want to be before the mafs to prevent loss of metered air.

You're such a nice guy. I don't mind repeating myself (too much), but asking us to waste our 'thought power' on a question like this is just disrespectful.

To the OP... good luck with that 98 GST, I hope it lasts you more then 3 months.

do supporting mods first, you don't wanna have a loud psssshhh sound when you're getting blown away by other cars right?

You should defiantly upgrade your stock bov, either 1g or after market. Search for free mods
