First real upgrades- what now ??

I have a 92 talon. I was my wifes car for the last 8 yrs. It is now mine. I am finishing a handfull of exhaust upgrades and need to plan the future stuff. I have a limited budget. I just upgraded the exhaust system & clutch. The car had a small 16g tubo . I added a ForcedPerf. Ex. manifold, an Evo3 0-2 housing and a 2 & 1/2" ish D/P that opens to a 3" with a resonater and a dynomax muffler. The clutch is an ACT HD with a clutchnet kevlar disc. Also got an AEM ebc. The car has previous mods I did 6 yrs. ago- 16g turbo, direct wired fuel pump setup, lightly hacked maf & airclener housing, K&N, magnecors and drilled out stock boost cyl parts. I know I need something like DSMlink. I want to optimise the lil' 16g. Figured a rockn' roll exhaust was a good foundation. It is a 57k mile engine. I am the second owner and the car is very solid. I am very good with tuneups on hotrods so I need help on this anomoly. Thanks, Tres............

If it were me, I would focus on fuel next. Bigger injectors, bigger pump, maybe a stainless line here and there to reduce some of the restriction in the fuel system... then get a manual boost controller, some logging equipment and up the boost!
 
Not really sure what you are asking here. Sounds like you have it figured out. You answered your own question....you need dsmlink, some injectors and a pump to get that 16g to go farther. I FMIC would be good aslo.

I guess my intent is to not throw darts at the future stuff. If I can get by with using whatever parts to get it running ,...well I will. Maybe somebodys xyz inj will deliver enough witout big $$$ , that is how I roll. What is correct inj. size, does it need a razoo fuel system with a fpr for that turbo? What is a realistic goal ? I am not looking to overboost the compressor. I know that is pretty generalized yet there is a very firm limit on that 16gturbo and that is this car. Thanks, Tres.....
 
Depending on your method of engine management, you could tentatively get whatever size injector you wanted. I'll just make that statement and leave it at that.

If you're looking to stay small, get a walbro 190 fuel pump so you won't need an afpr, some 550cc injectors, an safc and a logger, and a manual boost controller. This will allow you to max the boost SAFELY to the maximum that the injectors can safely flow but will not come near realizing the full potential of that turbo. You could see upwards of 20psi, give or take a few.
 
Just depends how much power U want to make. IF your happy with 20lbs You could just get a 2g maf and some evo 560cc injectors (usually find them for about 100 bucks) with some meth injection and call it good. personally I'd invest in a WB02 first. Then some sort of scan tool.
