This is the first log I took. Its only like 10-15 seconds long because the car wont idle by itself.:ohdamn: If there is any thing anybody can pull out of this log that could make this happen please help

P.s I had to keep pressing the throttle to keep the car running
it goes from rich to lean back and fourth but when i let off the pedal completly it dies out:cry:

Lock it in closed loop and do another log. O2 sensor not cycling

Actually nevermind that you have an 'idle control system malfunction'

When you put the 1g head on what throttle body did you use? Swapped sensors as well?

Im not sure, It was like that when i bought the car. How can I find out? And what causes a idle control malfunction?

There does seem to be a front O2 sensor issue, but you can't lock the ECU in closed loop. You can only lock it in open loop.

OP - Your ISC is either maxed out or not working, and there is a DTC for it. Check the ISC coil, and make sure everything in the throttle path is adjusted properly and there are no vac leaks.

How do i check the ISC coil? Im hoping to get this situated soon., I have no CEL btw. I just can't get the car to idle. I'm not sure if this matters but under ecmlink my Tps is -7 and the Tps scale it at 104%

One step at a time. If that tests out to be fine, then we can take it from there.

Also, make sure a boost leak test like Craig suggested.

And if you haven't done so, you should recirculate that bov.

I tested for boost leaks and my turbo to manifold was leaking but its fixed now after my turbo project i was working on. My bov is circulated, And I know that my tune is way off...

finally got the car to run and idle by itself 'after alittle help' here is my newest logs. This is all at idle and it revved a few times. it still isnt running right and I need help. Im afraid to drive it so its been sitting in my driveway. :notgood:

Ps. The logs I took didnt save for some reason

FYI - You need to log battery voltage (always).

Brian - Shouldn't he be seeing an IdleSw signal, even though it's a 2G with the TPS-integrated/simulated idle switch?

It looks like the ISC is fighting a loosing battle with the surge in airflow, as it just swings further and further out (or the ECU can't control it accurately for some reason). But, it's hard to tell for sure until we see a more steady idle log without throttle inputs.

Are you sure you have no boost leaks, and that all of the mechanical TB adjustments are done correctly?
