first things first i installed a walbro 255, aeromotive afpr, big 16g and ended up rewiring my cas. After the installs i couldn't get the car to start at all and found a huge boost leak and fixed those so it holds 22psi steadily. now the car starts but dosent wanna stay running for more then a few seconds and runs for poorly, and my innovative wideband isnt displaying a thing and i have verified all those wires are connected and fuses are good. im lost and confused on what to do next.

The ECU could be suspect.

I have had this problem many times, three times to be exact.

The first time on my 93 awd. After a motor swap ecu would only let the car run for 4 seconds then it would shut off. Swapped out with a friends ecu and things were fine.

I bought the ECU off the friend. Drove it for a few years and the caps went. Again same problem

I Had the caps replaced by another friend, drove it for two weeks, and it happened. Again.

It got to the point where I said to myself, "It can't be the ECU again, just had the caps replaced two weeks ago"
So I ended up diagnosing everything, but the ecu and took me a few weeks to figure out that it was in fact again the ECU.

SO I sent it out to ECM tuning. They did a great job clearing up the board and replacing the caps. My car has been running great a year since then.

It may or may not be the problem in your case, but it's a good place to look if you give up.

im pretty much out of ideas. i rechecked the cas wiring and even switched it around just for the hell of it. i went and checked the ecu, the board looks good and dosent smell. could it still be bad?

Ensure that your coolant temperature sensor is plugged in. This send information to the ECU and if dysfunctional causes a problem similar to what you are describing. If it is plugged in you may want to check that one of the wires has not broken, old wires + heat cycling could mean that the line is broken.

Since this is a very simple check and is free, check to make sure you're getting spark from your ignition coils. I have a bad one that randomly works and when its deciding not to work, it'll start, run rough and die after a few seconds. May not be it, but just a possibility.

i ended up finding a wire that came unhooked, i had replaced the sensor a month or so ago. i must of broke it loose when i was moving things around. the problems fixed now. thanks guys for the help
