2G Wont Stay Running

I just bought a 97 Eclipse GST, Completly stock and it ran good. I steamed cleaned the engine. and then replaced the crank and bearings in the car to sell the car. I also took out the balance shafts and put the kit in. Put the car back together started it up and it Idles poorly. It runs fine after it hits 2000 rpm You have to keep your foot on the gas to keep it running until you get it into gear (its an auto) and then when your driving it pulls good and drives fine except when I slow down and stop it goes to around 300 rpms and sometimes dies. When the car warms up it misses when its in park and when its in gear it idles around 300 with my foot on the break. Could taking the balance shaft kits cause a rough idle because in the car im driving its a 98 eclipse gst and i took the balance shaft kits out and when it idles it does have a rough idle and its missing. Are you positive the cam timing marks are timed correctly? Try raising the idle and see how that works

Right, I was gonna say is the timing dead on?? Sounds like the timing could be a little off.

I took my 98 gst to a dealership and they put it on the computer and they didnt catch the timing being off. and on the 97 we have redone the timing twice but There is a possible chance that we might of done it wrong both times and be off a tooth so Ill try that again but is there any other things that might be wrong?
