Threw an old HX35 8 Blade on my stock 7 Bolt daily, BEP bolt on housing.

Seems to have picked up about 70HP from the old 20G! Definitely outflowing these 650 Injectors LOL 130% IDC's. Maf still needs to be dialed in some more, Boost EST is about 5psi high, Actual is around 24, Had some Knock as well. Car pulls nice and is showing around 400Grams/Sec airflow.
Calculates to 52LBS

Any idea how much power its making?

Yea no wideband is a no no.. im all stock (for a few more weeks) as far as turbo and fuel and I just ordered an innovate for ~$140 ... im running an evo8 ecu and im sure it'll pay for itself 1000x over

No need for everyone to scream wideband wideband, I'm already aware of this. This car has parts that have been dug up and thrown on from previous builds. I made my own o2 housing for the wastegate and literally threw this turbo on in a night for the hell of it. Figured I'd make one pull to see how she ran, just wondering if my airflow reading 52lbs per minute is accurate? That's nearly 500hp?

Your 70-90 time was 2.3 seconds.. so if I were to guess, 375hp. It'll be a lot quicker without having 6 degrees of timing pulled from all the knock. I'd imagine that's real knock from your IDCs. 650cc injectors are way too small. Get some 1000cc's at minimum. Do you have enough fuel pump too?

You can change the airflow preferences to actually read lb/min instead of gm/s so you don't have to calculate airflow every single time. ;)

...but I agree- no wideband, 650cc injectors, and 130% injector duty =

You must not like that motor.

It's a terrible log. A lot of knock and why in the world would you not tune without a wideband? Repeated for emphasis. The Link HP is calculating less than 300whp...and i trust it. Get a wideband before you put holes in your pistons.

Thanks for the Input, 950s and wideband to come looking for 450WHP and high 11s

LOL you think it makes less than 300whp flowing 130% IDC on a 650 injector? close to 400 grams airflow and 2400HZ on the MAF? Typical

Im betting its closer to 300 then 400hp. You think your making that much power with -7(give or take) degrees of timing being pulled? Doesn't matter how much air your force in, you were detonating and probably lucky to be pushing 350hp. Your being stubborn because you know this isn't a good idea but your impatient, wait till you can tune it properly or suffer the consequences. :nono:

wow. Please step away from your car and especially that lap top!

Probably didn't read the thread or look at the log, I would put this car next to anyone on this forum in terms of reliability and drivability. I drive it 100miles a day, close to 500miles per week. And that doesn't mean I'm bashing on it making pulls either, Don't be a keyboard jockey.

Wow. Surprised the pistons and rods survived that pull, over 6° of knock retard at 7,000 RPMs.

If you really want HP estimates, thats what the "Horsepower" feature is for, and it's pretty accurate. And using that, assuming you were on a flat road, you're making about 275WHP. So you're figuring by slapping on a 50lb/min turbo, and no tune, you will be "making 500HP"??

Like they said, get a wideband hooked up, so we can actually see what's going on.

FWIW, Diambo is pretty much a DSM OG; when he talks, you should listen. ;)
