Hey guys, I posted a thread a few months ago located here: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/466947-questions-before-buying-gst.html
In regards to a DSM I was considering purchasing.
I decided against buying a modified DSM and was lucky enough to find a bone stock 1997 GST Spyder with 130k original miles, and with about 5k miles on a rebuild for my first DSM, and first car for that matter. I purchased the car from the shop that did the rebuild.
Anyone want to guess how much I paid for it? :thumb:

Pretty close!
$2,500 and its pretty clean. Runs strong, turbo spools strong.
Only issue Ive encountered is it idles kinda rough when the AC is on, compressor regulates every 5 seconds or so and causes the engine to jump 200-300 RPM.
of course that's no problem because its plenty hot and the top is always down!

put a gauge on the a/c you might be low in freon and that is why it cycles so much. also adjust your BISS screw to increase you idle to fix the low idle while it has a drag on the motor
