I'm getting ready to clean up my firewall. Doing a full engine build. As of now battery and fuse box are being relocated to the inside and will be doing a complete wire tuck. It's a 2G GS-T Street build so I don't want to delete any thing such as AC or Power Steering but will relocate to clean engine bay. Going to remove everything to sand, weld, and repaint entire Bay. Please give me your ideas of what can be successfully be removed / relocated. Thanks.

cruse control. that factory alarm mounted on your firewall

Good points. I will be removing cruise control, it doesn't really work well. Removal of alarm is as easy as dismounting the horn on the upper left had corner or does it get more involved?

ac abs power steering...
I don't want to remove any one of those. What would be the best way to go about relocating?

get rid of that catch can bracket, relocate fuse box and brake reservoir.

Which is the catch can bracket? Also where is a good place to relocate brake reservoir? I've been reading a lot about removing abs all together. This is going to be a daily, is the abs worth having as far as its function?

The catch can bracket is right next to your passenger side strut tower. In your picture it looks like a big square rusted plate. Relocate the brake reservoir to were you think it is best for your setup. If you have abs I would keep it since its going to be a daily but that is up to you.

ABS no its not going to be a bad thing to remove it! I've not had ABS since it was built and its fine! just makes you a better driver to react differently! LOL

the brake res is a little harder to do but you can possibly drop it below the rails but remember to bleed air out it needs to stay where it is as its the highest point

It's common to delete the abs on these cars. I haven't noticed much of a difference in braking since deleting mine, but I've never really had to slam on them hard. Most people I've seen talk about it say braking is better without it.

old abs systems suck. new systems have come a long way as far as feel but i still dont like it. im going to pull all that stuff off. get that battery out of there too

What is this white bracket with wires on the firewall?
