Ok so i am in a Delima I am not sure what to do. I bought a 91 AWD Talon and got a title but the title is in the original owners name but was registered when he sold it previously and didnt know someone registered it. And i bought it for $700. I now have a build motor, S259 turbo setup, FMIC etc. And can get a Mirage for $700 that runs and drives so i was thinking i can do an AWD swapped Mirage hatch or just finish Talon and wait on the real owner to come in and give me the good title. which wont be til January and im leaving for Ft. Benning in Jan.

Depends on your budget, the AWD Mirage swap aint going to be a bolt-on swap. You'll have to take in consideration the modifications required to mount the engine, axles, rear end, etc... Search in Mirage forums for 4G63 AWD swap. I have a real close friend who is just about finishing doing a 4G63 FWD 4thgen Mirage swap, and it wasnt a bolt-on job, and Im pretty sure a AWD swap aint going to be a bolt-on job either...

I think that depends about ## budget and goals bc the situation with the title in the talon it doesnt looks that bad and u just need no finish it but with the mirage it's gonna be a lot of money if u cant do it by yourself and a lot of time to complete it just my 0.02 cents

Depends on how good you are with Fabricating.. If you have the time, tools, and know-how..
Mirage would be nice!
If not.. stick with the 1g.. LOL

Time and money is no object LOL Im active duty army starting Jan. 15th im looking at atleast 6months on my off days. And im also getting a new Camaro so im gonna build what ever would be best for Racing. Im pretty good at electrical and some fab but i know a few guys that know how to do the cutting and welding of rear subframe and all that good stuff. I have also been looking on youtube watching Jafromobiles build of his to get some pointers and some know how to do the swap. The title is the EXACT reason i havent finished the talon. I have about $7000 in just the engine, turbo, fmic, intake mani, etc. so im not going to put it in and then have owner come in a take the car. Im pretty sure it would take me about 3-4 months in just preping and cutting on the body and modding it for the 4g63 and all which is nothing im not used to. Ive done about 2 to 3 weeks of reading on the topic . Plus if worst comes to worse i can leave it fwd until i get more time to cut the rear and all and make it awd. I mean i need a built transmission still to.

Camaro is going to be a ZL1 no need to build it more. (unless they do have the LS7 option this year). The car im building for track has to be street legal also im going to run street classes with it.

Mirage would be sick. if you made it awd even better. made it into a evo3 clone even better then that LOL. but the wiring is a night mare I have heard.

Mirage all the way... Here is a pic of mine. Work in progress.
