Ok so i finally got time for my project :) its a 2g talon tsi awd. I picked up the whoole shell for $150 (the previous owner thru a rod after running nitrous. I had a 96 fwd tsi that i swapped all my interior in. anyway i had questions. It had no t case (bought one and a driveshaft for 200 off a guy off here but only got the driveshaft :( oh well i guess) no motor just tranny and the harness. I got the driveshaft gonna buy a t case off a gsx, i have a 4g63t 7 bolt, and a battery. It needs a clutch and im leaning towards a oem exedy since its gonna be my girls car for now. Its 124 shipped and i was wondering if there was a cheaper on that did good. Just wondering i dont mind buying it. I got a fmic off ebay and it didnt come with the bov flange, i need that too. Can anyone tell me what else im missing? Also i lost the keys to the car but took the ignition and doors and hatch locks off my donor. How do i remove the ignition one offf the car with the lost keys without having the actual keys? i know how to put it back just dont know about taking it off.. Any help/feedback would be appreciated. I can do the swap im gonna have help but im just wondering if anyone has any pointers. Thanks guys!

yea... if i remember off the top of my head, when you look at the bottom (i think it is the bottom any way) of the steering column around the key lock cylinder there is a small hole that you can stick a small screwdriver or a punch in and the key lock should just pull right out. i apologize if that isn’t 100% accurate i am just trying to remember off the top of my head, it has been a while since i have pulled one.
