Many of you have seen me post about my spyder and the trouble I had with the boost. I couldnt get full boost until 4500 rpm on my ported B16g.
It has been like this since turbo was brand new and I have tried everything almost. Well tonite I figurde" wgat the h**l... I rip the turbo out and check it out to rule out anything htere.
Well what I found out was that the bracket for the wg clok was in some way hit. This made the waste gate stand just a little bit open and cause all this. I just took a small hammer...knocked the wg bracket back in place and voila!..The car pulls like crazy from 3400 RPM!! :D
Guess if its fun to drive the spyder again*hehehehe*

Figured it could be good to post if any one else hs problems..Maybe this is one thing to check. I guess the turbo/WG got knocked a little in the shipping or something. Just because its new doesnt mean its ok obviuosly:-(

Now I will jus tune it in as it should be and we wll make some times on the track as well!Just ahd to share cause I am happy the car runs as it should again!! :thumb:

( I know I am not a racer..but I think I could do some nice times for my setup at least:)

congrats on fixing it. I am in the same boat as you, and need a good day to take the turbo out.
