Boost problem, top line of WG

I was told when you have a EBC(which I do) to use the top nipple on the wg(i have 38mm)
so i bought the barb hose put in turbo then top line of wg and goes to 25psi, maybe more, but i let off, ebc was off, i have a 1bar spring. So i went back to what i had, a 1/8 npt plug in the turbo, and top line with nothing and i get 19psi, but if i set the ebc to 20 psi it will stay at 20, so i am not to worried.Just wondering why when i have it off, it goes to 18-19?

Run off the compressor to the lower port on the WG. Then that line gets T'ed into for the source on the EBC and out of the EBC to the top of the WG. IIRC. But you deff. have to have a line going to the lower port.
