i just added about 15hp (just a guess) and way better throttle response with a filing cabinet drawer. my first gear went from 40mph at 6000rpms to 45mph at 6000rpms. basically, ghetto cold air intake. now i just gotta make a hard intake pipe. i made it cause im runnin a 1.8, and its f'n impossible to find basic upgrades. i cant put up a pic right now cause my flash on my camera is jacked, but ill put one up first thing in the morning

Sorry to break this to you but no mod to the engines power will change the speed it reaches in said gear at said RPM unlerss the slutch was slipping before, or you changed the gearing or overall roll-out at the tires, even then the speedo would not show this... Has to be imagination, a crank shaft spinning at X RPM connected to a tranny with a fixed gear reduction will supply the same output shaft RPM at the same input shaft RPM everytime unless internal parets of the tranny were changed

you may b right, ill have to test it more thoroughly as i just put my new injectors in and i havent driven the car for 2 weeks, but i definately noticed an increase in power. :hmm:

damn i need a datalogger :banghead:
