I have a 94 n/t eclipse gs, and I want to build horse power on a budget. I want it non aspirated. Are there anyways of building it up to 250 hp without putting a turboing it or using nos?
I know there are posts like this before so I apologize.

Yea I thought about turboing in the next 2 years. My buddy said I should be about to run 8 psi safely without changing the internals. I think it is b/s and I will save up and buy internals and everything I need to turbo it at once.

Please do us a favor and use the search button on the top of the screen...

You can use the turbo cams, and TB to get a little gain.

Don't waste your time and money, sell it and buy a 1g AWD. Then you can waste your time and money in a more fulfilling way. ;)

get a cheap ebay intake with a nice K&N filter, 2.5 exhaust system, headers, if money is not an issue, do some P&P, good luck! ;)

I would look for one with a 4g63, Boost is addicting once you drive a turbo you won't want anything else.

It will cost you less if you turbo it than to try to build power out of a naturally aspirated four cylinder. There is only so much you can do without strapping a turbo on

agreed, buying a 4g63 equipped car will probably be cheaper, faster and more fulfilling out of the box.

yeah i would just buy another DSM i found my 1995 GSX for 2000 ended up paying 1500 and the car is in perfect shape. im already ahead of the 420a engines

Yeah...But waht fun is 8psi??:( You could probably find a 1G turbo FWD really cheap. My Laser is FWD and I love it!
