I have already searched and haven't found the right info I'm looking for. I'm looking at picking up a set of FIC injectors and on extremepsi, the bluemax 1250's are slightly cheaper than the 1150's. My question is if anyone is running the bluemax series can give me input on how they perform or if there are any issues associated with them. Also is there any difference between the Bluemax and regular injector?

The 1150 are ball-style and the 1250 bluemax are peak and hold low impedance ball and seat style injectors. Info on that would be extremely helpful.

I will be getting link soon and I only want to upgrade my injectors once.

I don't personally run BM's but every injector that FIC sells for a DSM is a low z (low imped.) ball and seat, peak and hold injectors unless otherwise specified. What specific info did you want? You put them in the car, setup your EM (Link, AEM, what have you) for them and start tuning? They are like any other good 1000+ cc injector!

So NO ONE here is familiar with these injectors? :notgood:

I run the blue max 1650's. Honestly, they were supposed to eliminate the over run normally associated with over 1200cc injectors, but I havent noticed any improvements yet, other than that the first batch I was shipped were faulty and hydro locked my engine. so after a week or so I got working injectors and have been fairly happy with them considering. Atleast the people at FIC were cool about it, ended up doing some R&D for them in the process.

The info I supplied for the injectors came straight from extreme's website. I'm asking to know what specific differences there are between the bluemax and the regular FIC injectors if any. I'd rather get a better injector than a slightly cheaper and larger one that may have problems.

Did you have the old ones that had problems or new "fixed" ones? Would you say that the injectors are the same but once you get to 1250cc they call them bluemax then?

The BlueMax is suppose to fix a lot of old problems that the old FIC's had. For one, the BlueMax has an actual deadtime which has a more reliable idle and fixes the partial throttle driveability. But, with the right tuning software and a person that knows how to tune the old FIC's will work.

That is the improvement between the BlueMax 1600cc and the old FIC 1600cc, but I haven't heard any problems with the old injectors less 1600cc.

So the slightly cheaper 1250 blues will be good to use then over the 1150 non blue?

I did some reading on the different tips. Is ball or ball and seat better overall or do they both have the same atomization?

Have you ever tried to contact FIC. When I have injector or fuel questions they answer right away

Hi guys.
I bought a FIC 1250cc BlueMax. For these injectors I know that they are more modern in contrast to the old FIC. They eliminated most important issue - this is normal operation of the engine at idle and quiet ride up to 3000 rpm. Previously, all vehicles are defined by FIC 1000ss and above had a huge consumption of fuel and not sensible gas pedal at low speeds. New FIC BlueMax solve this problem.
Knowing this I bought a FIC BlueMax. But faced with the problem of their installation in the ECU - no one can say any dead time to write to the ECU 2g or 1g. I wrote a letter to the official website of FIC, but I just have not answered that question, because you yourself do not know. I have this question left!!!!!
I factory ECU but EPROM! I can make changes to the ECU. I'm trying to understand what I inscribe "dead time" for their excellent work.

That factory defaults 2G:

Volts uS
18.70 495.00
16.35 555.00
14.00 690.00
11.68 915.00
9.34 1260.00
7.00 2295.00
4.70 3825.00
What value should be added to the factory indicators?
Thank you.

Exactly whey they were made, besides the fact that the 1600's were designed for CNG or natural gas. On/off of those injectors suck for DD.

Yeah I know, the BlueMax 1600cc injectors are basically over the old 1600s unless you have the BlueMax with the EasyTune box but I can live without the new injectors and the box. I don't plan on ever DD my DSM, it would be senseless to do stop and go driving on 1600s.
